LMMS Is WAY TOO Underrated!!
Don't Pay to Make Garbage!!
Alright, so everyone has heard that it takes over 10,000 hours of practice to be good at a skill. WHY then, should I PAY to SUCK at music for the first 9,999 hours?!?! LMMS is the free software to learn music-making!
First off, free software is just as good as paid stuff. If I want to create simple beats/loops/tracks, free is a dang good deal! If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its a duck!!
Secondly, if I PAY for software that I don’t like — I just lost $100, $200, or even $600!! Some stores CLAIM to have returns, but since when has a niche business accepted used software? I don’t want to waste money — and THEY don’t want to lose it either! LMMS can also be installed on your favorite operating systems
Thirdly, music making is an art. Customers only care if a piece is good, not what tool you use! Those that do care are snobby, gatekeeping elites that care more about blind loyalty to the product than the art itself. Getting paid is even better when you it cost you nothing!
The biggest reason LMMS is underrated: FREE AND OPEN SOURCE (FOSS)! If you wanted your software to do something specific the community has answers. Heck, if your tech-savvy you can even code it in yourself! Free and open source software is often supported by multitudes of volunteers — which is way more than any paid software could dream of!
